How to read the calendar

Classes are blocked on the calendar for the approximate time frame of the bell schedule.  For example, a class that is scheduled during first period will be scheduled 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM; a class that is scheduled during fifth period will be scheduled from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.

How many classes can be scheduled at once?

Unfortunately, we are only able to accommodate one class per period this year.  This is due to increasing class sizes and the limited number of working computers at any given time.  There are a few exceptions that will allow us to hold more than one class.  These include: one large class and one small class (less than 10 students) or one large class and one large class in the table area requiring only a handful of computers (group work).  Please be sure to indicate your class size and the number of computers you will need when requesting library time.

How do I sign up for Library time?

This is NEW this year! Please complete the library request form and email it to the librarian (Christina Fenner).  Requests will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis.  When you receive an email confirmation, you are scheduled. If there is a scheduling conflict, a resolution and/or alternative will be emailed back to you.  You should also see your name on the library calendar.

May I send my class with a substitute teacher?

Unfortunately, no. If you are scheduled to hold your classes in the library, and you are absent, you will need to reschedule your days. The only exception is if your class has a long term substitute.
