New Student Registration Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

In order to register your student you must bring the following items to registration:

     √  Immunization Records: including a TB Skin Test taken within the last 18 months, if new to Orange County.

     √  Transcript or Report Card from last school attended.

     √  Birth Certificate or Passport

     √  Withdrawal or Check-Out Forms from Previous School (if registering during the school year)

     √  Proof of Residency:

 

        Present ONE of the following items:

→  Correspondence from Social Services or other Government Agency
→  Deed to a Home
→  Mortgage Escrow Paperwork
→  Property Tax Bill
→  Rental Lease Agreement

→  Tax Return

 

       Or Present TWO of the following items:

→  Automobile Insurance
→  Cable Bill
→  Driver’s License/California ID Card
→  Electrical Bill
→  Gas Bill
→  Water Bill

     PHONE BILLS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!

 

 

 

 

California State law requires students between the ages of 16-18 to obtain a work permit in order to work.  Students must complete the following work permit and have your employer and parent sign the form and return it to the Guidance Office.

Students: If you would like to request a transcript or school records, you may visit the Guidance Office and complete a blue request form.  You must show your student ID in order to pick up a transcript.  Current students will receive the first 2 transcripts free, each additional transcript will be $5.

 

Other Schools/Alumni: Los Amigos High School holds student records for 5 years. After that they are sent to the district office Records Department.

 

To request records or transcripts within 5 years of attending (2012-2017) you may:

     •  Fax a request to 714-663-6518, Attention: Elizabeth Figueroa

     •  E-mail a request to the school Registrar, Elizabeth Figueroa at: efiguero@ggusd.us

     •  Mail a request to the school at:

*Former students must provide a valid copy of their Driver’s License or ID and check or money order for $5.00.

 

To request records or transcripts for students after 5 years of attending you may:

     •  Contact the GGUSD Records Department at 714-663-6514

     •  Visit the Records Department on the  GGUSD website at www.ggusd.us

 

 

 

 

**Inter and Intra District Transfer Window is held during the month of March annually.**

 

Intra – District Transfers:  These are transfers for students whose home school is within the Garden Grove Unified School District and would like to transfer to another school within the District or outside of the District.

♦  All applications must now be submitted online at: www.ggusd.us and selecting the “Transfer Applications” link.

**The application process is NOT COMPLETE until the application is printed, signed by
parent/guardian, and submitted to the school or district office.

If you need assistance, please call or stop by the Guidance Office.

 

Inter – District Transfers:  These are transfers for students whose home school is outside the Garden Grove Unified School District and would like to transfer to a school within the Garden Grove Unified School District and must be renewed each school year in March.

     ♦  Parents and or guardians must apply for a transfer at the district of their students home school.
