Welcome to Los Amigos High School! My name is Dr. Amy Avina, and I am proud to be the principal of this incredible school. Los Amigos is located in the City of Fountain Valley and it's part of the Garden Grove Unified School District.  Since we opened our doors over 50 years ago, Los Amigos is now home to over 1,700 students. We have a wide variety of academic program from AP advanced placement courses to Career Technical Education classes and dual enrollment courses which allow our students to earn college credits while they're still in high school. I hope today that you'll find a little bit of information about the extracurricular life of our school and see what it's really like to be a Lobo. Our graduates attend colleges all over the country from Cal State Fullerton to UC Irvine to Stanford, Yale, and Harvard. My name is Amy Avina, and this is my pack!

Hello and welcome to Los Amigos High School part of the Garden Grove Unified School District since 1968 and proud home of the Lobos. We're so glad you've come to join us and learn all about the wonderful things Los Amigos has to offer. We're excited to highlight the programs that are unique to Los Amigos High School and provide you with reasons to join our pack.

Welcome, Class of 2025! I will be your assistant principal when you arrive here in the fall. Your ninth-grade year lays the foundation for the rest of your high school career. Be  sure you're communicating with your teachers, counselors, and other support staff when you need a little extra help. Maybe you're an athlete and you plan to join a sport, or you're a performer and are considering band, drama, choir, or dance. Or maybe you'd like to get involved with volunteering on campus or in the community and plan on joining a club. Don't wait until you're in the 10th or 11th grade to do that. Do it right away!  Be sure to attend sporting events, dances, performances, pep rallies, and other activities. These are the events that might make high school fun. We want you to enjoy your time at Los Amigos, so again welcome class of 2025. We're excited to meet you.

Hello, my name is Michelle Ramos and I am the lead counselor here at Los Amigos High School.  We will work with you for all four years of high school to help ensure you get the most out of your high school experience. Our main goal as the counseling staff is to guide you with academic support and any social-emotional support needed along the way. We encourage all of our students to get involved in extracurricular activities on campus, because we know not only is it important for you to work hard in your academics but we also want you to make a strong connection with your peers so you can make high school a very fun experience. We can't wait to meet you and look forward to working every single one of you. This is Los Amigos Counseling: This is my pack!

Los Amigos is a family of hard-working scholars with their son put on graduation College and Career Los Amigos academics are one of our biggest priorities we offer a variety of courses that fit a wide range of needs from our student photography AP environmental science product design AP French literature in AP U.S. History these are just a few of our course offerings each of these classes challenged students while giving them an opportunity to delve deeper into a specific field of study one of our largest programs on campuses are AVID program where students receive support and realize their dream of becoming successful college student Early College Academy is an early college dual enrollment cohort in a comprehensive setting full partnership with Golden West College what makes Early College Academy unique is that our students are college students taking college courses building their transcript from the first semester of their freshman year at the end of their four years they have the potential to have 60 transferable units saving them valuable time and money in fact Early College Academy students will graduate from Los Amigos High School with a diploma and earn an AA from Golden West College and liberal arts Ruble to csu's as selected UC campuses and Los Amigos teachers co-teach the courses at the Los Amigos campus has my name is Miss Franco and I'm the activities director internship class teacher here at Los Amigos Dos Amigos understands the value of extracurricular activities and helping students explore diverse interests current students to get involved and we offer a wide variety of clubs and activities shooting a fbm leadership chance to rise and lead the pack Lobos syllables my name is integrity occurring genealogy Mills High School and your is the president as a team of student leaders who work together to make love to me those. They also spent logo Pride throughout the Halls everywhere on campus as well as outside the school through the opportunities leadership offers Los Amigos students go from friends and classmates cholo pack family read the pack Lobos this is Los Amigos dealership this is my pack we hope you're enjoying hearing all about the things that make us proud to be Lobos fearless and Migo's the students are the heart and the soul of the campus they bring with them Spirit of connection community and compassion wherever they go most Amigo students are involved in a number of different programs from Visual and Performing Arts Sports instrumental and vocal music cheer and dance just to name a few now here to tell us more about their programs or dancer Denna Anaya and cheerleader Evelyn and change my life for the better I can't think of a better way to spend Dance of the language to me it's a way to say a million things in one movement without having to say a word trellis Amigos High School we offer to dance classes are physical education class and are intermediate dance class as part of our dance team you got to perform in assemblies and football game you also get the amazing opportunity to compete in competitions in California our team is taking first place in the hip hop category of catted which is California's most recognized and prestigious Dance Competition circuit feel so when most overall points and there in the first place art competitions for 2017 2018 and 2019 dancing at Lowe's of giving me friends and family when I needed it most it's a place where we all understand the impact the dance has in our lives a place where we can all be ourselves a place where everyone is accepted for who they are and we are all equals this is Los Amigos dance this is my pack here to tell us about the cheer program is Evelyn love in there thank you Donna my name is Evelyn again day I'm a junior and I have loved hearing since I was 4 years old I figured out Los Amigos for 3 years and falling in love with it. Lowe's has more than Palms in uniform it's about making sure that we have our family and academics come first we work extremely hard to perfect our routines and run them at the best of our ability he went to accompany since I mean represent our level. Consistently at our games and school events most importantly we aim to consistently Shore pause our pride and our love for all things with Amigos go Lobos are tryouts are coming up soon so make sure to follow us on Instagram Natalie trayling for updates this is listen Migos cheer and this is my pack for telling us about your high school something for any student looking to pursue their art is Tasha here to tell us more about the fine arts program is our computer Graphics digital design and Ceramics art teacher mr. Callaway Connick Aloha I miss turkey avocado and I'm an instructor the award winning Los Amigos High School art department at Los Amigos we offer a full range of art instruction in both two and three-dimensional medium from exploratory art and drawing and painting to Ceramics and sculpture AP classes available in all areas of emphasis we also feature a state-of-the-art iMac lab for computer graphics and dual enrollment digital design we can't wait to see who our next Global artist will be thank you for that glimpse into the world of Fine Arts in Stark a foursome of you your art lives on stage proud to offer you the opportunity to participate in our performing arts program through drama and choir there's so much beautiful music B major at Los Amigos here to share about our instrumental music and our colorguard is Vanessa Alonso my name is Vanessa Alonso Miami senior and I have been in the marching band for four years I currently serve as a president of the marching band and the pic caption of the Drumline home to a diverse range of talents lifelong friendship and tone calves because yes you are in PE credits with six different sections including wins and Drumline your opportunities are endless exciting Adventures Karen T Everlasting memories from your own competition the football game score praise exhibition years from now you'll remember what fortissimo actually means just as much as you will attacking your bandmates water balloons sign mr. Garcia's hair right after the first place Victory and screaming I Want It That Way by the Backstreet Boys alongside come heating schools even if music isn't your Forte are bands color guard are the storytellers of our Ensemble they leave the audience on the musical journey through a combination of insane tricks tenses and visuals bring your music to life plus no experience is necessary where do you want to testify or Bang a Drum determination dance moves and an appetite for victory is all you need feel never be bored in band but you have to come see it to believe it Los Amigos marching band this is Los Amigos colorguard this is my pack thank you Vanessa we are so proud of all the programs here at Los Amigos High School last but certainly not least our athletic director Chris Sandro what's the play-by-play of the World of Sports at Los Amigos thank you coach Galbreath hear Los Amigos we love our student-athletes listen Migos offers 19 sports program all provide an opportunity to enrich the high cool experience and give our student-athletes a true sense of community are Level Pride runs deep in our many program and we celebrate a winning tradition that includes 23 boys water polo championships a 2018 girls soccer CIF championship and of course our 2020 boys basketball league championship and if you want to take your love of sports off the field and into the classroom Los Amigos offers a class just for you here to talk about athletic leadership is Ashley and I think leadership is a Sports Marketing and Jonathan class that promotes all sports programs in Los Amigos students that are not that I have a passion for both to Spirit and Sports Website an Instagram account reduce a video announcement Recaps and live stream also we create an environment of global Spirit at a sporting event this is Los Amigos and this is my pack and this is my pack so that's it for a list Amigos High School we can't wait to welcome you in the fall as our new incoming freshman for the year remember once you're a lobo you're always a logo and this is now your pack
