Science Databases

The California State Library has added three new science platforms to its K-12 Online Content offerings to start the new year. National Geographic Kids, Interactive Science, and Environmental Science from Gale are now available for every student in the state through their school or local library.

Genrefication Stickers

We are starting genrefication at your Lobo Library. What is genrefication? Genrefication is the process of organizing, classifying, and categorizing items into genres. This classification system can be easier for students that like to browse, and many bookstores use it for this reason. You will start to see stickers on the spines of the book. Here are some examples you will see. This is a long process, and not every book will have a genre sticker.

Accessing the Lobo Library Catalog

All students now have a log in to access the Lobo Library Catalog. You can search for books on your own or see what new titles have been added. Your username is you email address without the @ggusd.net. Your password is your 8 digit birth date (see examples below). To access the catalog click here.
